Before attempting to make my contents page for my Rock Magazine, I decided to do some research as to what other Rock content pages look like. The magazine I chose to look at was Kerrang!, as I have analysed many Kerrang! front covers. Look at the cover above, I can see that nearly everything shown on the page is highlighted in bold outlines, the contents titles is also bold. This makes the contents stand out much more on the page along with making it much easier to read for the viewer.
This particular contents page is very organized in terms of where certain parts are laid out. The pictures are clear, the features of the magazine are clear: All the different parts of the contents are shown in different sections. The main point of a contents page is to be able to find what is inside the magazine quickly and easily.
I would like to follow some of the aspects and techniques this content page uses for my own rock contents page.
