This is my school magazine contents to accompany the front cover. I have used the same colour scheme on the background on the contents page as the colour of the MastHead. I used the same colour for the background, but just different shades for different sections of the contents. On my contents, I included some text that I see on the inside of many magazines to introduce what will be included in this issue. I made up my own description based on the theme of college and school news. Just below, I have added the main contents of the magazine with the page number with the appropriate size of font so it is readable. Underneath each main heading, I have added what is included in that article in a smaller font. This not only makes it eye-catching, but it offers a deeper insight as to what is included in the magazine.
On the right side of the magazine are a few photographs of what is included in a few of the articles. For example, the top image shows a picture of a girl struggling to study, a small strapline to accompany the image and the page number of where the article can be found. This type of technique if found on many fashion magazines, so I thought it could make a simple school magazine a lot more interesting to look at.
I tried to make the contents as interesting as possible as it is only the second page of the magazine. By doing this, the audience will want to read the articles in the magazine.
