After looking at many music magazines and analysing the front covers, I decided on the genre I would like to focus on. I would like to base my magazine around is Punk/Rock. I would not usually choose this style of music but I chose it to set myself a challenge within this project. I would usually choose a genre like R'n'B or Pop but I think I can make an interesting cover by choosing Rock, allowing me to be a little more creative. Before I actually make my magazine, I plan to create stunning, eye-catching photographs that are very dark and powerful. I plan to take my photographs outside of school and use different props such as a fan, a tungsten lamp and other objects in order to create an interesting photograph for my front cover.
