This is a scan of my school magazine front cover. This is just a very brief sketch of what I would want my cover to look like. (The layout, straplines etc)
I have not included the colour yet as I have not planed what I want my model to wear. I will base the colours on the magazine around the colour clothing that she wears.
The conventions I have included on my cover however include the Masthead, main image positioning, barcode, strapline positioning and layout.
I have decided to call my magazine Live and Learn. I think this name suits very well to the theme of the magazine. It is a very simple yet catchy title for a school/college magazine, along with giving the magazine a little more sophistication. The name of the magazine helps to show what audience it is aimed for which is teenagers.
